Every trait a model expresses, honesty, formality, bluntness, exists as a direction in activation space. repeng finds it with paired contrasts and PCA, then you add the vector at inference with a coefficient. Positive adds the trait, negative subtracts it. Open-weight models only: Mistral-7B is the official example.
